This research will explore how to develop an observation and analysis framework for examining the relationships between humans, technology, and society based on the perspectives of the philosophy of technology, the anthropology of technology, post-phenomenology, and ethnomethodology. While proposing the possibility of the framework, this paper will take people who have type I diabetes (T1D) in the demand for blood glucose monitoring (BGM) and insulin delivery as an example to explore the technological implementation in their daily life. Then, based on this, it will extend to explore the relationship between embodiment and technological mediation in the era of artificial intelligence and automation and the possible inspirations brought to the interaction between actors, technology development, and society. |
