2027 International Conference on Survey Methodology, Application, and New Developments

Call for Papers

The Center for Survey Research (CSR) of Academia Sinica will hold an international conference on Survey Methodology, Application, and New Developments from April 28 to 30, 2027.

Important Dates

• Abstract submission due: November 15, 2026
• Acceptance notification: December 1, 2026
• Registration open on January 1, 2027
• Full paper or extended abstract submission due: April 1, 2027
• Conference: April 28-30, 2027

Abstract Submission Guidelines

• The online submission website via Google Forms will open on September 1, 2026. Only abstracts submitted through this website by November 15, 2026, will be considered.
• Abstracts should be no more than 500 words long, excluding references. They should clearly set forth the study purpose, conceptual framework, and research questions, as well as provide sufficient methodological details to evaluate the study’s design and likely findings. If applicable, abstracts may also include preliminary findings.
• All submissions must be in English, and all accepted papers must be presented in English.
• Submitters will be notified of the results by email by December 1, 2026. The submitter will serve as the primary contact person and will be responsible for notifying all coauthors of acceptance, rejection, and any other relevant information.
• This conference accepts oral presentations only. Authors of accepted submissions are required to submit the full paper or an extended abstract by April 1, 2027.
